Perfect for autumn entertaining, this fresh and easy appetizer board is great to serve alongside fondue or with a selection of dips. Add some Candied Maple Pecans and Simple Crostini for a tasty addition to a cocktail party. If you don’t have a platter use a large wooden cutting board.
Autumn Appetizer Board
1 salami, sliced 1/4-inch thick or cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 pound carrots, peeled and cut into 3 to 4-inch lengths
1 large bulb fennel, trimmed, cored and thinly sliced
1 head cauliflower, trimmed, cored and cut into bite-size florets
1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
3/4 cup pitted Kalamata olives
3/4 cup cornichons
On a large board or platter arrange the salami, vegetables, pear, olives and cornichons. Just add some glasses of bubbly for a festive autumn evening!
